As a teacher, it is very rewarding to see the work done by students in my classes. Many of these people are not art students, or may not have had much prior drawing experience, so I think they are especially impressive. Many of the works shown here are from the Empty Spools at Asilomar 5-day conference, and reflect that more extensive timeframe. The projects from Asilomar combine techniques taught individually in my normal classes.
