This is a children's read-aloud book which I wrote and illustrated. The quilt on the front cover has a pattern at the back with instructions. Young children like a repetitive rhyming tale, and they will enjoy this story of a comic disaster. My father really did build a cradle, and we did have a pygmy goat. The rest of the story is imaginary, but anyone who has ever had a goat can see that it really could have happened.
