Lura Schwarz Smith -

Student Work

As a teacher, it is very rewarding to see the work done by
students in my classes. Many of these people are
not art students, or may not have had much prior drawing
experience, so I think they are especially impressive.

This first series of images comes from the 2004 Empty Spools
at Asilomar 5-day conference, and reflect that more extensive
timeframe.
These projects combine techniques
taught individually in my normal classes, and I list the
related classes at the bottom of each piece.

To scroll through the images, use the "back" and
"forward" buttons at the bottom of each of the pages.
