As a teacher, it is very rewarding to see the work done by students in my classes. Many of these people are not art students, or may not have had much prior drawing experience, so I think they are especially impressive. Many of the works shown here are from the Empty Spools at Asilomar 5-day conference, and reflect that more extensive timeframe. The projects from Asilomar combine techniques taught individually in my normal classes. Thank you to all of the students who have shared their in-progress work, and I wish I had room to post all of them.
